Our New Infographic on Brain Health

Multiple sclerosis is an attack on the brain, with inflammation causing damage to the delicate nerve tissue. MS medications reduce this inflammation, One of the better ways to tell if a medication is working is whether it slows the rate of tissue loss (called brain atrophy). Tissue loss occurs in everyone due to aging, but the rate is estimated to be four times faster in a person with MS.

Our new infographic on Brain Health highlights the importance of doing everything you can to keep your brain functioning normally – with healthy eating, regular exercise, and treatments that will slow brain atrophy.

The infographic can be downloaded, printed out, or shared with your friends in the MS community on Facebook and Twitter.
